Dr. Bob was raised in a Christian home, but was "good" and "lost". He was
Confirmed an Episcopalian and Baptized a Baptist but without Christ and without
hope. Dr. Bob graduated from high school and college in Michigan and later
joined the US Air Force in 1966. He became a combat pilot in Vietnam (1968-69)
where he won the Distinguished Flying Cross and five Air medals. Returning to
the States he was stationed in Charleston, SC where he commanded four engine
jet transports over worldwide routes.
Wanting a change of career in 1972 he began law school at the University of South Carolina. A year and a half later he
realized he didn't need a career change but a heart change. He surrendered his life to Jesus Christ and felt called to
ministry in the local church. After graduating from law school (1975) he enrolled at Southern Baptist Seminary in
Louisville, KY. and later graduated in 1978. He married his wife Ellen and they have two sons.
From 1979 until 2001, DR. Bob planted and pastored churches in Cincinnati, OH and Columbia, SC.
In 2001 he became convinced that the Lord was launching him into the marketplace of commerce and ideas. Since then
he has hosted radio and television programs, birthed and managed a mediation and reconciliation service and become
the first executive director of "Men Following Christ" in Winona Lake, IN.
Since moving to Greenville, SC he has preached and taught in local churches and hosted TV programs for Dove
Broadcasting. Most recently he has begun to serve as Church Coordinator for the Greenville Area Fellowship of
Guest Speaker: Leslie Nease
Leslie Nease began as a fitness motivational speaker
in the 1990's but once she surrendered her life to
Jesus Christ, her messages morphed from physical
fitness to spiritual fitness as her faith grew, her heart
changed and her passion for equipping others
As a Christian speaker, she says her desire is not to
just be a "motivational" or "inspirational" speaker, but
instead, she hopes to pass on her passion for the
Word of God and equip others to grow in their faith
through faithful study and application of God's Word.
Her messages are laced with Scripture, as she knows
that true change only happens when the heart is
changed by God as truth is applied to a life.

4th Annual Chili Cook-off: MAY 21
The live performance aspect
began in 2008 when I was asked
by my pastor, Perry Duggar, to
paint to music in the Palm
Sunday service. I was a bit
unsure about it but agreed to do
it. That was the first time I
performed to live music. The
first painting of this nature was
“The Christ” which remains
proudly displayed in my studio.
This had such an impact and was
so meaningful to both me and
those in attendance that it
opened a door to a completely
different avenue, something I
began to call ‘visual worship.’
Our guest speaker will be Jared Emerson
...you don't want to miss this....
I'm a meteorologist on your TV, in the
classroom and online. Born and raised on
a farm in Hendersonville, NC, I'm proud to
be home in the Carolinas. I'm very active
in church. When I'm not looking at the
radar I enjoy being outdoors, whether it's
the mountains, ocean or lake. From snow
skiing, to water skiing to a good hike I'm
always looking to enjoy what nature has to
offer. I enjoy watching and going to see
sports live. Nascar (Dale Junior), NFL
(Panthers), and MLB (Atlanta Braves). I
also enjoy hunting and the occasional day
on the lake fishing.
Both Mark and Dan became Christians as a result of their
dad’s witness. Mark was saved at the age of five and Dan
at age seven. Both have been involved in various
ministries within their churches. Dan was a Sunday school
teacher for over 20 years both with teenagers and
children. He was a deacon and is currently a leader in the
men’s outdoor ministry. He and his wife volunteer each
week at the church’s food pantry that feeds nearly 400
families within the community each month.
